Team Bahati Joins the 2025 Tour du Ghana: A New Chapter for African Cycling
Accra, Ghana | November 16–23, 2025
The Bahati Foundation is proud to announce that Team Bahati will compete in the 2025 Tour du Ghana, a premier stage race that continues to spotlight the power, potential, and rising influence of African cyclists on the global stage. This moment marks a meaningful step forward in our mission to expand opportunity, elevate talent, and amplify African presence in international cycling.
The Tour du Ghana has become a vibrant showcase of athletic excellence, bringing together standout teams from across West Africa—including Benin, Nigeria, and Burkina Faso—alongside elite European squads from the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. The depth of this year’s field not only raises the competitive bar, but also reinforces Ghana’s growing reputation as a world-class host for cycling events.
For the Bahati Foundation, this race is far more than competition. Team Bahati’s participation is a cornerstone of our African Cycling Initiative (ACI)—a long-term commitment to supporting the Ghana Cycling Federation as it prepares athletes, coaches, and programs for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games (LA28). Through talent development, international exchanges, and expanded training opportunities, ACI is designed to build a sustainable pipeline for African cyclists to shine on the world stage.
The 2025 Tour du Ghana is a celebration of unity, ambition, and progress for African cycling—and Team Bahati is honored to ride alongside athletes who are shaping the future of the sport.
Stay tuned for race updates, behind-the-scenes highlights, and stories from the road as we ride for Equity, Empowerment, and Community across Ghana.
