5TH ANNUAL BAHATI FOUNDATION MOTION EQUALS HEALTHY BIKE GIVEAWAY
This year’s Motion Equals Healthy Bike Giveaway, sponsored by Giant and Liv Bicycles, provides all youth in attendance with big smiles.
The event was hosted at Dignity Health Stadium Sports Park,

"What a way to end the year,” said Iman Bahati, Communications Director of the Bahati Foundation. “This year’s bike giveaway was one of the biggest and most successful for our foundation post-COVID, with over 170+ new bikes given to deserving students."

The event alliance partners include; the Long Beach Parks/Recreation Department, Walk and Roll Long Beach, CycleBar, Methods To Winning LLC, Long Beach Health Services, VELO Sports Center, and Major Cycling Club LA.
Thanks to Howlers Youth Cycling Club, who coordinated our Bike Safety Clinic and alliance partner SAFE (Streets Are For Everyone). The Bike Safety Clinic was a tremendous hit with all the students that received bikes. Again, we are proud to have had participation Detectives from LAPD South Bureau Homicide Division and Officers of the 77th Division Community Relations Office pre-selected a few children who have faced extreme hardships to receive new bikes.
“We would not have been able to deliver this first-class event without the amazing work of our volunteers,” indicated Rahsaan Bahati, founder and President of the Bahati Foundation. “ The volunteers went beyond the call by showing up and building bikes on Friday and coming back on Saturday for the bike giveaway; many thanks to all volunteers.”
The Bahati Foundation looks to continue building this bike giveaway and creating smiles on the faces of our youth.
